Do you like reading classic novels or poetry? We are a friendly group of book lovers that like exploring classic literature from all over the world. Each month we will select a classic work and have an in-person discussion around it. Anything from Austen to Zola is fair game. You are welcome to read the book in your preferred language, however the discussion will be organised in small groups in English. Please see more information below. MARCH For March we will be discussing and comparing two books that deal with the same story: the epic poem Beowulf (anonymous) and the novel Grendel by John Gardner. To participate in the bookclub meeting you will need to have read both.
